> 98% by SDS-PAGE
Formulation
0.4 mg/ml human IL-8 in PBS without carrier proteins
Sterility
Sterilized through a 0.22 µm membrane filter.
Biological Activity
Bioactivity is under investigation.
Endotoxin Level
0.1 EU/μg of the protein as determined by the Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) method.
Shipping
The product is shipped with dry ice. Upon receipt, store it immediately at -80 °C before use.
Storage and Stability
This product can be diluted in sterile 1X PBS to at least 0.1 mg/ml in the presence of 0.1% BSA and stored for a month at 4 °C. The diluted protein can be stored in aliquots at -80 °C for long-term storage. Do not vortex and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Figure 1. SDS-PAGE
1 μg of recombinant human IL-8 was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing condition and visualized by Coomassie Brilliant Blue staining.

Figure 2. Size analysis
0.5 mg of recombinant human IL-8 was applied to gel permeation chromatography in PBS buffer (Cat#EBP005). Based on the calculation of molecular weight of the human IL-8 (18.6 kDa), it is predicted to be a homodimer.
