Purity
> 98% by SDS-PAGE
Formulation
1 mg/ml mouse TNFSF11/RANKL in PBS without carrier proteins
Sterility
Sterilized through a 0.22 µm membrane filter.
Biological Activity
Determined by its ability to induce osteoclast differentiation of RAW264.7 mouse macrophage cell (ED
50 =4~9 ng/ml)
Endotoxin Level
0.1 EU/μg of the protein as determined by the Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) method.
Shipping
The product is shipped with dry ice. Upon receipt, store it immediately at -80 °C before use.
Storage and Stability
This product can be diluted in sterile 1X PBS to at least 0.1 mg/ml in the presence of 0.1% BSA and stored for a month at 4 °C. The diluted protein can be stored in aliquots at -80 °C for long-term storage. Do not vortex and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Figure 1. SDS-PAGE
1.4 μg of recombinant mouse TNFSF11 was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing condition and visualized by Coomassie Brilliant Blue staining.

Figure 2. Size analysis
0.11 mg of recombinant mouse TNFSF11 was applied to gel permeation chromatography in PBS buffer (Cat#EBP005). Based on the calculation of molecular weight of the mouse TNFSF11 (51.7 kDa), it is predicted to be a homotrimer.
Figure 3. Bioactivity
RAW264.7 cells were stimulated with recombinant mouse TNFSF11/RANKL (30 ng/ml) to differentiate into osteoclasts and morphological changes were observed under the microscope after tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) staining.
