> 98% by SDS-PAGE
1.0 mg/ml human IL-4 in PBS without carrier proteins
Sterilized through a 0.22 µm membrane filter.
The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of cell proliferation of TF-1 human erythroleukemic cell is 0.05~0.2 ng/ml.
< 0.1 EU/μg of the protein as determined by the Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) method.
The product is shipped with dry ice. Upon receipt, store it immediately at -80 °C before use.
Storage and Stability
This product can be diluted in sterile 1X PBS to obtain a concentration of 0.1 mg/ml and stored for a month at 4 °C. Prepare aliquots and freeze at -80 °C for long-term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Figure 1. SDS-PAGE
1 μg of Recombinant human IL-4 was resolved with SDS-PAGE under
reducing condition and visualized by Coomassie Brilliant Blue staining.
Figure 2. Biological Activity
The biological activity of Recombinant human IL-4 was measured by growth of
TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells.
